what SEO does? ON-PAGE and OFF-PAGE optimization.

In a web site what you rank for is being complete optimized by on the page and how much you rank for is completely optimized by the off-page SEO. To make it clear, let’s take a restaurant where the ambiance and the food preparation is like an on-page SEO and the advertisements we make is like off-page SEO.

Whatever we do on the page gets reflected in the index page through on-page optimization. It involves various factors such as title tag, Meta description, heading, URL structure, ALT text, page speed, content, and links. This optimization looks at what your page or your website is about.

Here the targeted content of each page is given as a title tag. The title tag should be effective and the most relevant keywords of the content of your webpage.

The heading usually has the largest font size on your webpage so, it should be given a huge amount of time to write an effective heading. It also gives a little more weight on your optimization than your other content on your page.

The URL should be short and neat without any numbers or any other words which were given at random by Google. The URL should be made with some keywords of your page which will give you a good weigh while optimizing.

The content management system should allow having ALT text to images. The content you write isn’t visible to readers. The content can simply be applied by screen reader software where the visibly challenged people can visualize the picture by listening to the description. The search engines optimize your page in which description to a picture gives a good rating for your optimization.

The page loading speed, content, links are other factors which will be scanned by google search engine robots. So, we should make our page light and should insert low-resolution images which can increase your loading speed. We have to make good content in a way it will be understandable and will be useful to many people. Your page should have useful links which should satisfy the peoples who are searching for them.

There is a site called domain authority which will analyze your website by comparing it with the other relevant websites. The authority of your domain can be increased by getting links from other websites. This method of optimizing is off-page optimization. The page ranks get higher as the links to other website increases. Imagine a pizza (website) where the extra cheese (backlinks) layer will surely increase your quality of pizza and its worth (ranking).

The google will surely rank your page higher if you have many quality backlinks to your website. The more sites which are linked to your content the higher the rank the google provides to that page. Many websites will give you many backlinks and helps you boost your index value. But, Google can find if the backlinks provided are useful or is it created by a bot and can block those websites from the search engine results. The point here is that the quality of backlinks is more important than quantity. There are many organic approaches to get backlinks from the users such as guest blogging, which will enable the users to share the links to other websites.

The domain authority measures your website by certain factors and gives you the domain score, which enables Google to rank your page on the index page of the search engine. The history of domain name (i.e. how long the domain has been sustained) and a large number of backlinks and a large number of pages will give you a good domain score.

There is no secret formula for ranking number one in search engines. We have to ensure that the page is well structured and user-friendly. Have quality backlinks and make sure the keywords are specified and also ensure that signals are being sent to Google in the right manner and this will increase your ranking in the search engine.
